President calls on the Sabiny to shun archaic traditions

President Yoweri Museveni has called on the people of Sebei Sub-Region in Eastern Uganda to discard old traditions that are not compatible with modern life. The President was particularly referring to the very old custom of Female Genital Mutilation and also the mode of subsistence farming practiced in the area.
