President Yoweri Museveni has today received and held a meeting with the visiting International Monetary Fund (IMF) Managing Director, Ms. Christine Lagarde at State House, Entebbe. “We need to support the social sector in order to enable economic growth. President commissions Ggaba water plant

President Yoweri Museveni has today commissioned the newly constructed Kampala water treatment plant located at Ggaba in Makindye Division. He urged Ugandans to stop invading and destroying lakes, rivers, forests and wetlands which, he said, are important water catchment points. He stressed that the four natural features are not only important as sources of rain but they also help in the filtering of water to make it safer and easy to purify.
