President Yoweri Museveni, also C-in-C of Uganda's armed forces, has this afternoon held a question and answer session with Officers of the UPDF, the Uganda Police Force and Uganda Prisons Services who have been undergoing a 2-month Political Education and Leadership course at the National Leadership Institute Kyankwanzi (NALI).

Since early June 2014, business communities plying the Yei – Yambio, Yambio – Wau road in South Sudan have registered incidents of armed robberies of their goods in transit and torching of their vehicles.
These security challenges have been confirmed by The United Nations Mission in South Sudan (UNMISS).
President Yoweri Museveni who is also the Commander in Chief of the Uganda Armed Forces has highly commended the Uganda Peoples Defence Forces (UPDF) for intensifying Political Education in the army.
“I am happy to see that this has become a reality, because without political education the army cannot perform,” he noted.
