President Yoweri Museveni and his wife Janet Museveni return home from SouthPresident Yoweri Museveni and his wife Janet Museveni have returned home from South Africa after a one day working visit during which they also attended the graduation ceremony of Col. Muhoozi Kainerugaba at the South African National Defence College.
President Museveni who was seen off at the Lanseria International Airport by the South African Minister for Monitoring and Evaluation in the Presidency Mr. Collins Chabane, Uganda’s High Commissioner to South Africa Kweronda Ruhemba, Military Attache Brig. Steven Kashaka and senior military officials of the South African government.
Back home, he was received by the Head of Public service and Secretary to Cabinet John Mitala, the Commissioner General of Uganda Prisons Johnson Byabasaija and senior military officers.
During his visit to South Africa, President Museveni met and held talks with a group of investors from Tublar Modular Tracks, a South African based company that has expressed interest in participating in the development of Uganda's railways system.
