President Yoweri Museveni, the Chairman of NRM party, has supported and campaigned for the party flag bearer in the Luwero by-election Rebecca Nalwanga at Kasana grounds in Luwero.
"If you do not know what Ssekoko is, you may think it is eaten with feathers. You must remove feathers to get to the meat,” said the President referring to the poor knowledge of some opposition members on how government is run.
He explained that he handles strategic issues and the MP attends to the local ones.
"You don't expect a herdsman to have a mingling stick but the food manager."
"I am a child of God but am also a human being, a son of Kaguta. I can't perform miracles. I cannot turn water into wine. Or say, let there be this and there is.”
Meanwhile, at the same function, Peace Kansiime, former FDC mobiliser crossed to NRM.
"If you can't beat them, you join them. I have also noticed a major weakness; Col Kizza Besigye does not give new leader Mugisha Muntu a chance to lead. He wants to be the only bull in the Kraal,” she said.
