President calls on MPs to support 2014/2015 Budget

President Yoweri Museveni has called on Members of Parliament to support the 2014/2015 budgetary-proposals that, he said, are tailored to propel Uganda to modernity.
The President made the remarks last evening while reacting to the 2014/2015 budgetary proposals presented to Parliament by the Minister of Finance, and Planning and Economic Development, Hon. Maria Kiwanuka at Serena Hotel in Kampala.
President Museveni expressed his gratitude to note that one of the remarkable achievements of last financial year 2013/2014 was the tarmacking of 830 kilometers of roads in various parts of the country.
