Irene is the Principal Assistant to the First Lady, the Minister of Education and Sports in the Government of Uganda. She is passionate about empowering leaders and has undertaken several leadership studies including a Master of Arts in Organisational Leadership and a Masters of Arts in Public Administration and Management. She has facilitated Leadership studies at Destiny Consult, Development Associates International (DAI), Sundulous Africa Leadership Training (SALT), Africa Kingdom Business Forum (AKBF), Haggai Leadership Institute and Centre for Biblical Transformation.
She joined Government as an Immigration officer with the Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration control and rose through the ranks to the level of Principal Immigration Officer. In 2008 she was appointed to head the National Identity card project in the Ministry of Internal Affairs. Irene excels as an efficient administrator and is very versatile in public speaking. She enjoys work with Young Professionals seeking to create platforms for Christians in the work place to fellowship, pray together and be equipped to serve with excellence and integrity.
