President Museveni Receives Credentials From Seven New Ambassadors, Reaffirms Uganda’s Commitment To Strengthen Diplomatic Relations

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has today officially received credentials of seven newly appointed Ambassadors at State House Entebbe, reaffirming Uganda’s commitment to international cooperation and diplomacy.

The envoys included H.E Lisa Chesney MBE from the United Kingdom, H.E Leonard Zulu, the United Nations Resident Coordinator in Uganda, H.E Dr. Madou Diallo from Mali, H.E Firas Khouri from Jordan, H.E Gentiana Serbu from Romania, H.E Katarina Zuffa Leligdonova from Slovakia, and H.E. Tone Tinnes from Norway.

In his remarks, President Museveni welcomed the Ambassadors, noting that Uganda is committed to fostering strong, mutually beneficial relationships with each represented nation.

He emphasised Uganda’s dedication to strengthening bilateral ties and cooperation on various regional and international issues.

The arrival of these Ambassadors underscores Uganda’s active engagement with global partners in areas of trade, security, and humanitarian efforts.

The ceremony was also attended by the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Hon. Okello Henry Oryem.
